WHAT IS COACHING?
A coach is a trained professional who aims to help and guide you to make, meet and exceed personal and/or professional goals.
Coaching supports you on a journey to rediscover your own values, strengths and abilities by harnessing techniques based on psychological principles and intuition.
Coaches empower clients and provide a toolkit of teachings to confidently face challenges and overcome barriers.
Coaching provides a calm, safe space for you to:
be listened to
gain awareness of who you are and what's important to you
identify your strengths and challenges
examine the options open to you
decide what action to take in order to make the changes you want to
The process will support and empower you to reach your full potential.
Once you've uncovered what you want we'll focus on:
what is holding you back
any conscious or unconscious thoughts, patterns or stories you have
With the purpose of you using this level of awareness to break through any obstacles and go on to achieve your ambitions.
IS WHAT WE DISCUSS CONFIDENTIAL?
Yes absolutely. I won't share your identity or that I'm coaching you with anyone. I may share very high level details of what we discuss for marketing purposes however it will be done anonymously and I will be very sensitive with what I share.
You're free to share that I'm your coach and any details of what we discuss with anyone you like.
When we begin our coaching sessions we'll both sign up to a coaching agreement which sets out some basic terms and conditions for us to follow, one of which is confidentiality.

I care about my clients and your wellbeing is my first priority. I know the pressures the modern world puts you under and I'm experienced in helping people like you. I'll be your biggest cheerleader and will help you awaken and believe in the brilliance in you.
Every client is different and I'll adapt my coaching to suit your needs. I'm experienced in different coaching methods and tools so you can expect an experience that's tailored to you.
I'll work with you on all levels so we'll peel back the many layers of your conscious and subconscious, and be mindful of how all of this affects not just your mind but your body too.
I believe in working with you as a whole person and will create a calm, safe space where all of your personal challenges and emotions are welcome. You can bring it all.
WHAT QUALIFICATIONS DO YOU HAVE?
I’m a fully qualified and accredited coach with many years of training, experience and CPD.
I've studied extensively and my qualifications include:
ILM7 Diploma in Executive Coaching (2021)
ILM5 Diploma in Coaching and Mentoring (2014)
Chartered Institute of Personnel Development CIPD Postgraduate Diploma (2013)
BSc Hons Degree in Business & Human Resource Management (2:1 2008)
NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) Master Practitioner (2007)

You, your emotions and your wellbeing are all important to me. I'll encourage you to quieten the mind and connect with your body and intuition.
I have regular coaching supervision to continually build my coaching practice for my clients and I engage in regular training to stay at the cutting edge of coaching practice. I’m really curious and I never stop reading and learning new things which I’ll pass onto you.
ARE YOU ACCREDITED?
Yes. I am a European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC) Accredited Coach at Senior Practitioner level (the 3rd out of 4 levels). This recognises the extent of my training and experience as a coach. I am also a member of the EMCC and abide by the Global Code of Ethics.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT DURING SESSIONS?
Each session will be tailored to your needs and I'll use conversational techniques such as questioning, deep listening, observation and reflecting back to give you self-awareness, clarity and insight that may not have been there previously. Our conversations will be free from judgement and bias to give you focussed attention and the space to understand yourself and your situation.
WHERE ARE SESSIONS HELD?
I offer sessions:
In-person in my garden summer house in Bolton
Walking in one of my local beauty spots for that extra bit of nature connection
Online through Zoom
HOW OFTEN WILL WE HAVE SESSIONS?
For 1:1 coaching sessions I'd recommend every 2-4 weeks depending on your preference and schedule. We can agree this during your free 30 minute consultation.
For wellbeing workshops these can be anything from a couple of hours to a full day.
DO YOU OFFER PAYMENT PLANS
Yes. We can discuss what's best for you.
You can pay for the programme up-front (with a 5% discount) or in instalments spread over the duration of your coaching sessions, as long as each session is pre-paid before it happens.

WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN YOUR BREAKTHROUGH PROGRAMME AND YOUR EMPOWER AND TRANSFORM PROGRAMME?
My empower and transform programme is all about wellbeing and connecting with yourself and the world around you. It offers a deep dive into all areas of your life and will enhance your wellbeing so you can feel more calm, confident, empowered and self-assured. This will set you up for success in all areas of your life.
We'll begin the programme with a pre-coaching questionnaire and wellbeing audit. Each coaching session will include a breath-work practice to ground you and bring a sense of peace and calm. You'll also get a personal workbook to complete in between sessions, to guide you week by week and give you recommendations to improve your wellbeing.
The career breakthrough programme is focussed more around career progression, transition or enhancing your performance in a particular area such as leadership, relationships or communication skills for example.
IS COACHING LIKE THERAPY?
There are some similarities but typically a therapist is a trained healthcare professional who treats mental health conditions. A coach is also a trained professional but is more future focussed, supporting you with changes you'd like to make, building your confidence, mindset and achieving your goals and ambitions. Some of this will involve looking at the past and the beliefs you have about yourself to build awareness, and moving past these to create the life you want.
In my view working with a coach (especially one who focuses on wellbeing) can support you early as a preventative measure for your mental health.
Personally, coaching has helped me through my ups as well as my downs. It has a place for it all. So if you're in a good patch, come and talk to me, but equally if you're in a not so good patch, come and talk to me!
